Yes, the cello section continues to grow in strength with the arrival of Bailey Shore the day after our last concert.
He came in two weeks early (so we'll have to work on his timing) and interrupted the World Cup final
(good job England weren't playing or it might have been a lonely trip for me into hospital!).
We've been home a week now and have totally fallen in love with him - I think that I get the easy bit -
I just have to do the feeding whilst for the time being I have got Mat to agree to do the nappies!

25-02-2006 Westminster Philharmonic
Adrian Charlesworth, who has been leading us so capably during the past few week in Clare's absence (see below),
has asked us to bring the next concert of the
Westminster Philharmonic to your attention.
It is on Saturday 1st April 2006 7.30 pm at St John's Waterloo, is conducted by Jonathan Butcher,
and includes Mahler's 1st and Mozart's Piano Concerto no 1.

24-02-2006 Clare Howick in Concert
Clare has asked us to circulate the fact that not only will she be leading the
Orchestra of English National Opera in the Mikado at the Coliseum, but also making her conducting debut that night!
On Saturday 18th March she will be performing Dvorak violin concerto with Kingston Chamber Orchestra at Kingston Parish Church. Do try and come.
